Enhance your learning with a range of enrichment and extension opportunities.
Passion Projects
Passion Projects is an enrichment program for all students run every Thursday afternoon, where students independently drive their projects of passion while working in a mentored environment.
University Extension Studies
The University Extension Studies (UES) program provides a taste of university life for high-achieving students interested in a STEM field. By undertaking a first year university subject in Year 12, it will count toward SACE Stage 2 and your ATAR, as well as being credited to your future degree studies at university. Subjects are delivered on the Flinders University campus at Bedford Park and Tonsley, taught by Flinders academic staff, lab staff and tutors.
Flinders University Connection
Thanks to our unique partnership with Flinders University, our students feel right at home on a uni campus. Students meet and learn from academics and enjoy the opportunity to visit and use university level facilities. Through this partnership, students and teachers connect with the latest knowledge and developments in emerging sciences and technologies.
蓝月亮料 International Science Fair
The 蓝月亮料 International Science Fair (ISF) allows students and international participants to enjoy a week of challenge-based learning, a collaborative learning experience where they investigate real-world issues, propose solutions, solve challenges, and deliver presentations and poster displays.
Changemakers
Students are encouraged to be involved, take the lead, and shape the 蓝月亮料 for years to come. Our student Changemaker team contributes to influencing change at the 蓝月亮料, helping to craft the student experience, and directly influence learning design and subject offerings at our school.
Challenge based learning
Challenge Based Learning is a framework for learning while solving real-鈥媤orld Challenges. Students work collaboratively to learn about compelling issues, propose solutions to real problems, and take action.
Ambassador opportunities
There are many opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills and contribute to the school and broader community, including international ambassadors and opportunities to represent our school at events such as the DreamBIG festival, Open Nights, school tours and more.
